The MSPA is governed by its members, for its members. Each Region, North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America, has its own Board of Directors, under the advisory oversight of the Global Board. The board members are volunteers, elected by the Association membership, and generally serving on their board for a period of three years.
The Global Board contains representatives from each Region, usually the President or past-president, and operates to provide continuity between the Regions, to decide policy, to resolve issues and to advise the Region Boards as appropriate. The founders of MSPA and all MSPA Regions are represented in the
MSPA Global Board.
Each Region Board is supported by an administrator and/or support staff as required.
